Why do other YouTube downloaders give me a video without sound?
Above 360p, YouTube streams picture and sound separately. Sites that just pass along the picture stream give you a silent file. We download both and merge them into one MP4 on our server.
Can I download YouTube Shorts?
Yes. Paste the Shorts link (youtube.com/shorts/…) exactly like a normal video.
How do I convert YouTube to MP3?
Analyze the video and choose MP3 in the Audio section. If you prefer no re-encoding at all, pick the M4A (AAC) file instead.
Why does 1080p or 4K need Pro?
High-resolution files are large and we prepare them on our own servers, which costs bandwidth. Free users get up to 720p; Pro unlocks 1080p, 1440p and 4K.
Some files are marked VP9 or AV1. Which should I choose?
If you want the video to save to the iPhone Photos app, choose an H.264 file — 1440p and 4K exist only as VP9 or AV1, which play in VLC and most desktop players.
Can I download live streams or members-only videos?
No. Live streams can be downloaded after they end. Private, members-only and age-restricted videos require an account and aren't supported.
