xMediaFetchBot is designed to collect as little as possible. This policy explains what happens when you use the website or the iPhone Shortcut.

What we process

  • Links you submit. We use them to find the media you asked for. Recently analyzed links are cached in memory for up to 10 minutes to speed up repeated requests.
  • Technical logs. Our server records the time, your IP address and the submitted link to prevent abuse and fix errors. Logs are deleted automatically after 7 days.
  • Files. When a file is prepared on our server, it exists only for the time it takes to send it to you and is deleted immediately afterwards.
  • Statistics. We keep anonymous totals (for example, the number of downloads per platform), with no link to any person.

What stays on your device

Your download history, theme, language and Pro key are stored in your browser's local storage. They are never sent to us except the Pro key, which is checked when you use a Pro feature. You can clear them at any time in your browser settings.

Cookies and tracking

We don't use tracking cookies, analytics trackers or advertising networks. Sponsored links are ordinary links; when you click one we only count the click.

Third parties

Downloads marked “Direct” come straight from the platform's servers (for example X), which then see your IP address as with any visit to that platform.
